Volunteers are the heart and power behind NeighborWorks Boise's mission! Together, we create change in our community and positively impact our neighbors' lives. Join us today - we need YOU!
Become a Volunteer
Please send us your name, contact info, and interests so we can get you involved with our Volunteer Program!
Administrative Assistant
Support staff with everyday, administrative tasks at our main office, including answering phones, filing, and other clerical duties.
Resident Services
Assist with programs at our multifamily rental communities. Programs vary and opportunities are listed on our Volunteer United page.
Committee Member
Do you have business acumen in a certain field and want to help? Join one of our committees: Rake up Boise, Paint the Town, or Resource Development. Most committees meet monthly and some meet less. Contact Anna at agamboa@nwboise.org for more details.
Seasonal Events
Provide valuable short-term support for several NeighborWorks Boise events throughout the year. Volunteers help with set up, take down, making/returning phone calls, data entry, social media management, and hands-on help. These events include:
- Homebuyer Education classes (monthly)
- Idaho Gives (May)
- Paint The Town (June)
- National Night Out (August)
- Rake Up Boise (November)
- Avenues for Hope (December)
Garden Highlights
We are happy to announce that Resident Services will begin our spring gardening activities. Our community garden has been so successful in the past, that this year more residents are interested in becoming part of this activity. If you are interested in helping out contact Daniel Felix, AmeriCorps VISTA 2018-2019 at dfelix@nwboise.org for details on how you can help.
