As a not-for-profit lender, our caring team has access to a fresh menu of financing options to craft a loan that’s perfect for you, even when your qualifications aren’t perfect. Whether you’re buying your first home, scaling back your dream home, or emerging from hardship, we offer hope and homeownership that traditional banks can’t match. When you buy a home with NeighborWorks® Boise Lending, it’s great to know your monthly mortgage money stays here to benefit the community.
NeighborWorks® Boise also offers down payment assistance grants for qualified borrowers as well as the education courses required to meet the terms of those programs.
NeighborWorks® Boise Lending is a full-service mortgage lender, which means we are here to help you with any mortgage needs, including refinancing your current home.
We have access to many state programs and multiple mortgage products not available to other mortgage lenders. That makes all the difference when it’s time to refinance your home. Refinance products do not offer any special incentives from state programs.

Neighborworks Boise was absolutely amazing in my husband’s and mines loan process. We were set on another lender when we were referred to them. They were able to astronomically get us a much better deal and save us a lot of money. Patrick and Maile were super easy to work with. I was able to easily get papers to Maile and she always responded back very quickly! I had a lot of questions through the process and she never once made me feel like it was inconvenient for her to answer them. Their team is involved in the community and genuinely cares about helping people with their homes. I would 100% recommend anyone to them for their outstanding service.- Jessica Ortega
We just bought our first home and Neighborworks made it possible! In this unforgiving market, buying a home is a challenge for us locals.
If it wasn't for the many home loan programs and options they have, we just wouldn't have been able to do it....or would have been house poor.
The mortgage team is amazing and was always available to me for my many questions. 100% I would recommend exploring your home loan or refinancing needs with them. -Melissa Wedman
After my family and I moved here from Africa, we lived in a Neighborworks apartment complex then worked closely with Patrick on getting a loan for a new construction home. The People at Neighborworks were very nice from beginning to end, going above and beyond. -Samson
It exceeded our expectations- you knocked it out of the park with a super-fast close, getting a great rate, even monthly loan payments, and a large cashout amount. THANK YOU!!! - Dana
Asa 501(c) (3) non-profit mortgage broker, NWBoise Lending (NWBL) is dedicated to offering affordable mortgage loans to Idaho’s homebuyers that are competitively priced. NWBL primarily serves low and moderate-income target markets and communities.
NWBL is aware of the current competitive housing market having an adverse effect on Idahoans ability to purchase a home. By partnering with the CDFI Fund and state agencies we are able to structure a “Dream Loan”, which is a more affordable loan program tailored to our LMI clients.
In addition to the Dream Loan, we offer Conventional and VA loans.
We offer Down Payment Assistance, Forgivable Grants, and other programs depending on availability.
We are Idaho’s ONLY non-profit mortgage broker.
The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) plays an important role in generating economic growth and opportunity in some of our nation's most distressed communities. By offering tailored resources and innovative programs that invest federal dollars alongside private sector capital, the CDFI Fund serves mission-driven financial institutions that take a market-based approach to support economically disadvantaged communities. These mission-driven organizations are encouraged to apply for CDFI Certification and participate in CDFI Fund programs that inject new sources of capital into neighborhoods that lack access to financing.
