Green Building Practices

Green building benefits generations. It is the practice of creating healthier and more resource-efficient models of construction, renovation, and maintenance.

Healthy Homes

A home should be a healthy environment. We are working to provide products that help protect them and local eco systems.

Clean Air

Most people now spend 90% of their time indoors. We're working to help them keep their air safe.

Water Conservation

Water is a vital source of all life on earth. We are helping consumers conserve it - for their own utility, bills and for the planet.

Energy Conservation

We preserve energy by intentionally designing homes with efficient heating systems, solar readiness, and insulation improvements to reduce energy consumption.

Established by NeighborWorks® Boise in 1982, Paint The Town™ has served over 3,000 households. Volunteer teams paint homes of disabled, senior, and veteran neighbors. Volunteer, donate or apply to get your home painted.

Save the date: 40th Anniversary | June 2022

Since 1985, volunteer teams have come together to rake yards for senior and disabled neighbors in Ada County. Sign up to volunteer, donate, or have your yard raked and be part of this beloved fall tradition!

After my family and I moved here from Africa, we lived in a Neighborworks apartment complex then worked closely with Patrick on getting a loan for a new construction home. The People at Neighborworks were very nice from beginning to end, going above and beyond. -Samson

I wouldn’t be building my dream home if it wasn’t for NeighborWorks. I recommend everyone to their HomeBuyers Education. If it weren’t for a program like that, I wouldn’t be here. I am so grateful to be able to chase my dream. -Whitney (Homebuyer Education Course)

It is unbelievable to me that something like The Meridian Homeowner Repair Program even exists. I couldn't be any more grateful, I really am so grateful for this program and Neighborworks. -Katheryn Mills (Roof repair and tree removal)
