FLOURISH FINALE NeighborWorks® Boise's 8th Pocket Neighborhood™ To grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment. As we develop our Pocket Neighborhoods™, our priority is to cultivate a strong sense of community among neighbors while preserving a sense of privacy. Our neighborhoods come together at the intersection of energy-efficient home designs and functional shared open space, not dominated by vehicles. The word "Flourish" captures the priority and goals we set for all our developments. It's a wrap! NeighborWorks® Boise's 8th Pocket Neighborhood™ is complete with the final home closing right before Christmas. We're so excited for the families in this community to create memories here for many years to come!
Flourish is our first Pocket Neighborhood™ to be entirely solar-ready. Some families have already taken advantage of this feature, to further minimize their monthly expenses.

On December 22, Gateway Crossing Apartments Resident Services Program hosted a holiday celebration and toy distribution. NWB community members generously donated toys to provide Christmas gifts for 32 families, including 70 kids.
"This means so much to us. We don't have the means to get any Christmas gifts for them this year." (Gateway Crossing resident)
"This turned out so great! Thank you for letting us participate in this event. This gave me an opportunity to teach a four year old the importance of caring and giving. It truly meant so much to us." (Karla, toy drive donor)

LET US HELP YOU HOME Homebuyer Education Class
Boise was recently cited as the least affordable city in the U.S. based on housing prices and median income. During the current pandemic, virtual workers and investors flocked to purchase in Boise, driving up prices and impacting the inventory (CBS News, December 27, 2021).
The current housing market makes NeighborWorks® Boise's homeownership programs even more important. If you or someone you know would like to become a homeowner, but don't know where to start, let us be your guide. We can equip you with the tools to become mortgage ready. Recently I was elected as Board President for NeighborWorks® Boise. I have been a passionate supporter of Paint The Town™ and Rake Up Boise™ for many years. Many people don't know that NeighborWorks® is the non-profit behind these programs. In addition to those signature events, they do so much more.
For the past 40 years, NeighborWorks® has helped to revitalize neighborhoods and improve lives throughout the Treasure Valley by addressing the housing needs in our community. We provide affordable housing solutions through our continuum of programs and services that educate, empower, and offer the necessary resources so low-to-moderate-income Idahoans can obtain, retain, and maintain their home.
As a full time Realtor and Brokerage owner, I feel an obligation to give back to the community that has provided so much for us. I am so proud of what this organization has already accomplished and the team we have in place. They selflessly dedicate their time serving our community and creating affordable housing solutions across the valley. I'm looking forward to expanding our footprint and the impact we have in the Treasure Valley, and am humbled at the responsibility my fellow board members have entrusted in me.
Gratefully, Morgan Hoffman Board of Directors President, NeighborWorks® Boise Designated Broker/Owner, JPAR Live Local
